Valuation with Old Wage
Purpose
This component aims to process the vacation valuation and vacation bonus of the employee.
Capability
In accordance with the Labor Act (LOT), both vacations and the vacation bonus should be paid according to the wage the employee was receiving on the day s/he became entitled to vacations. However, the capability allows vacations and the vacation bonus to be paid with the wage the employee is receiving at the start of the vacation period.
If vacations or the vacation bonus must be paid in line with the stipulations of the Labor Act (LOT), you should use the VEAB2 function in the VET0 schema. In this way, when a new vacation entitlement is generated, the wage is saved in the system and later used to valuate vacations and the vacation bonus when they are taken. You should use wage type /610 as the valuation basis for valuating vacations, and wage type /618 for valuating the vacation bonus.
