Purpose

In this SAP component, you describe waste from a logistics, physical-chemical, and legal point of view. You also enter the waste catalogs and waste codes that are important for describing waste from a legal point of view in this SAP component.

• Product Safety
• Materials Management
• Dangerous Goods Management

You must install the SAP Product Safety and Materials Management components along with the SAP basic data component so that you can enter waste data. You must install the SAP Dangerous Goods Management component if your wastes are dangerous goods and you want to use the Dangerous Goods Management functions.
