Operation of the WIS
Use
The following notes give some information to make starting to use the WIS easier and describes selected functions.
You can only use the WIS if you can use the logistics information system.

Features
Basic List
After you have called an analysis and if necessary, have restricted the data range of the analysis by entering selection criteria, you receive the Basic list of this analysis.
In the first column of the basic list, all characteristic values of a Characteristic that correspond to the selection criteria are listed. This characteristic is specifically determined for every analysis.
The following columns contain the values of the key figures for the selected characteristic values. The relevant units are displayed for all key figures.
The characteristic and key figures display can be determined by the user for every analysis in the Settings menu.
Drilldown Function – Drilldown List
You can use the drilldown function to vary the level of information displayed, that is, you can show the data displayed in a list according to specific criteria.
The Characteristic drilldown has been implemented for the WIS: If you double-click on a characteristic value, this characteristic details the same analysis with regard to a further characteristic. The order in which the characteristics are drilled-down follows a preset analysis path, the standard drilldown.
In contrast to the basic list in the top half of the screen, the drilldown list additionally displays the characteristic with the characteristic value that is detailed in the list.
To display the characteristics and the order of the characteristics of the standard drilldown, choose Extras
® Display Standard Drilldown. You receive a dialog box with the structure graphic of the standard drilldown.If you want to drilldown the characteristics in a different order, position the cursor on the characteristic value for which you want detailed information and choose View
® Drilldown according to. This displays a dialog box in which you can select the characteristic that you want to drilldown according to.To go from a Drilldown list back to a Basic list, choose Goto
® Basic list.Drilldown Change
You can use the Drilldown function to change the view of the data that is displayed in the list.
Using a drilldown change in the Basic list, you can change to a Basic list that has a different characteristic as a basis but which is formed with otherwise the same selection criteria.
Key Figures
A range of key figures is displayed as standard for every characteristic value. To select other key figures that are to be displayed in the list, choose Edit
® Select Key Figures.A dialog box with the list of all the available key figures is displayed. This list of key figures can now be processed, that is, you can put the key figures for the list display together here. You can delete key figures, change the order of the key figures and select new key figures from the information structure they are based on for the list display.
