Entering or Modifying Weighting Factors 

Use

For each priority mode, you can use the Mode Maintenance tool to enter or modify weighting factors for the various priority model entities.

Procedure

...

       1.      Open the Mode Maintenance tool.

       2.      Double-click a Mode entity or right-click it and choose Expand from the pop-up menu.

The Mode node expands to reveal the sub-entities Static & Synchronization, Task Creation and Task Selection.

       3.      Double-click the Static & Synchronization entity or right-click it and choose Expand from the pop-up menu.

The Static & Synchronization entity expands to reveal the static and synchronization priority model entities.

       4.      Right-click a priority model entity and choose Modify Weighting from the pop-up menu.

The Weight Modify dialog box appears.

       5.      Enter a value from 0-99 and choose Enter.

The weighting factor appears in bold at the bottom of the priority entity and the normalized weight appears on the connecting line above the entity.

       6.      Repeat steps 4-5 for each priority entity.

       7.      Choose  to return to the higher level entities.

       8.      Repeat steps 3-7 for the Task Creation and Task Selection entities.

       9.      Save your changes.

Result

The priority mode’s weighting factors are created or modified accordingly.
