• The original packet contains the original object list.

• A correction packet contains changes to the object list of an ALE distribution unit. Changes include:

• Adding new objects

• Resending objects

• Excluding objects already sent

All correction packets of an ALE distribution unit are sorted according to the time when they were created. In Customizing for the Uniform Packaging Service (UPS), you can define whether correction packets can be created.
