  1. On the Compensation Management screen, choose Administration ® Adjustments menu
  2. The Compensation Management - Compensation Adjustments screen appears

  3. Select a period, an adjustment reason and, if necessary, an adjustment type
  4. Select an employee selection option.
  5. Generate a list of employees using the selection option that you have chosen. For more information, see Selecting Employees Using the Processor View, Selecting Employees Using Organizational Unit, and Selecting Employees Using Ad Hoc Query.
  6. On the <Name of Adjustment Reason>: Compensation Adjustment Types and Employee screen, select an employee from the list, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Choose employee).
    The Compensation Management - Maintain Employees screen appears.

Note

You can display additional employee information to help you when you award adjustments at the employee level, by choosing Goto ® Employee information. You can also display guideline, budget and rounding information.

Note

What information is displayed in the employee information dialog box is customizable. In Customizing for Compensation Management, you can determine what employee information is displayed by choosing Compensation Management ® Basic Settings ® Define Profile View.

  1. Enter an absolute amount or a percentage adjustment for the employee.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

The system creates a Compensation Adjustment infotype record (0380) for each adjustment per employee with the corresponding status.

Result

Compensation administration is complete and you can submit your adjustments for approval.
