Maintenance of Tab Page Conditions
Use
The entries on this tab page define conditions related to the workflow container that influence the generation and termination of a work item. The conditions are checked by a background job that runs periodically and is scheduled in
Automatic Workflow Customizing.You define the condition when completing execution with reference to the work item container.
Features
Generate work item
If a work item is created by the workflow system, it assumes the status in preparation, and is not visible in any workflow inbox. If no conditions are entered on the tab page, or if the conditions have been fulfilled, the status is set to ready and the work item can be executed.
Terminate work item
If you enter a condition on this tab page, the step gains the additional outcome Condition for ‘terminate work item’ is true. This branch is carried out if the condition is fulfilled. The work item is set to status completed.
Complete execution
Before the condition is evaluated, the binding for the task container is executed.
If the condition is met, the work item is processed further. If the condition is not met and if the indicator Perform agent determination again is not set, the work item remains in the status In process. If the indicator is set, the recipients are determined again. If the actual agent of the work item is the recipient again, the work item remains in the status in process. Otherwise, the newly determined recipients receive the work item.
Activities
Enter the required conditions in each tab page. To do this, use the
Conditions Editor.
