You can link a document from your hard drive to an existing business object, and store it in your storage system.

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Store and Assign.

A dialog box is displayed.
  1. Enter the business object type for the business object to which you want to assign the document. Enter a document type for the document.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

A dialog box is displayed.

  1. Enter the object-type-dependent object key for the business object to which you want to assign the document.

A dialog box is displayed containing all the files on your hard drive.
  1. Select the document you want to assign to the business object.

The document is assigned to the business object and stored in your storage system.
