Definition

In this infotype, you enter the payroll-relevant data for each employee. This data determines the contribution rates used to calculate the social insurance contributions for this employee.

In addition, you record data that the system requires for evaluations. These evaluations are carried out directly after the payroll run.

Use

For each time of the employee’s job with the company, exactly one valid record of this infotype must exist. You cannot run payroll for personnel numbers that do not have a record for Social Insurance A infotype (0044).

The entered data is used in payroll, for the transfer of social insurance contributions, the creation of contribution statements and various evaluations.

Structure

When you create a new record for this infotype, the system determines default values based on the feature Default values for the SI screen (A) (AUSVA). These default values are for the SI group, SI institute, and Contribution group fields.

You find the step for editing features in Customizing for Personnel Administration under Payroll Data à Social Insurance à Determine Standard Default Values.

Using your entries in the basic data, the system gives you the indicator for contributions/costs according to the values you set in Customizing.

Integration

You usually create the first record for these infotypes during the Hiring personnel action (see Structure link Recording Insurance Data).

Before you can record data in Social Insurance A infotype (0044), you must first record an employee’s data in Personal Data infotype (0002).

The Social Insurance A infotype (0044) is closely connected to the SI Notification Supplements A infotype (0367). In the SI Notification Supplements A infotype (0367), you record the data that is required to make registrations, deregistrations, and change notifications for social insurance. If you change certain data in Social Insurance A infotype (0044), the system defaults to the subtype for SI Notification Supplements A infotype (0367). You must process this infotype.

Example Example

You change the employee’s contribution group in Social Insurance A infotype (0044). After you have saved this infotype record, the system defaults to SI Notification Supplements infotype (0367) subtype 06 (Change SI-Relevant Data). You then process this subtype. The system selected the Contribution group change field from the Other reasons field.
