Use

When you edit output variants, you specify the value assignment types for which the system displays data in the respective output.

You can, for example, use the output variants preset in Customizing as copy templates (see Copying or Moving Output Variants), edit and save the copies as you require. In this way, you can create commonly used output variants in the required output variant group.

Using the procedure Editing the Output Variant Header you can enter general data such as the key and description of an output variant.

Editing Output Variants to Display Compositions and Ingredient Specifications

Note

In output variants, with which you can display compositions and ingredients, you can only specify one value assignment type.

The Edit Output Variant: Group Overview dialog box appears.

  1. Choose either This graphic is explained in the accompanying text or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text that follows the output variant you want to edit.

The Property Tree dialog box appears.

  1. Choose one of the following steps:

The system automatically deletes any existing selections of other value assignment types.

The Edit Output Variant: Group Overview dialog box appears.

  1. Save your entries.

Editing Output Variants to Display Properties

Note

In output variants with which you can display properties with Excel, you can specify a maximum of 50 value assignment types.

The Edit Output Variant: Group Overview dialog box appears.

  1. Save your entries.

Note

You can also use the edited output variant directly for output before or after saving. Position the cursor on the edited output variant and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
