Business Event Blocks (Infotype 1041) 

Definition

Infotype that contains the names of the business event blocks ( = sessions) and the block texts ( = subdivisions of sessions) for multisession events/conventions and their time schedules.

Use

This inftype is required for multisession events/conventions, in other words, for business events whose event types have the Convention flag set in the Business Event Type Info infotype.

The information stored here serves to identify the individual tracks and sessions of a convention and to specify the time schedule of the convention. This infotype is created for the main event instead of the Schedule infotype.

Structure

You create the following information in this infotype:

·        The name of the sessions (business event blocks)

·        The names of the subdivisions of the sessions (block descriptive texts)

·        The time ranges of the individual sessions

You create a schedule for each day of the main event.

Infotype maintenance

You must maintain the Business Event Blocks infotype when you create a convention with sessions.
