Use

Before you convert an iPPE product structure to a material BOM, you can process the objects that were converted successfully in the engineering workbench (EWB).

Prerequisites

In the settings (settings tab page), you have set the Go to Processing indicator.

Procedure

  1. Start the conversion process.

The system decomposes the product structure and determines the conversion-relevant iPPE objects. Depending on the data that is converted, you see a screen of the engineering workbench, such as EWB: BOM Header Overview.
  1. Process the BOM objects, with reference to a change number or context, for example.
  1. Once you have finished processing, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Save.

Result

The system saves the iPPE data that has been extracted without errors (and changed in the engineering workbench) to the material BOM.
