Use

The transfer log contains administrative data about the transfer of concept data to component variants.

It contains the following information:

Prerequisites

You have transferred the data of an active concept to a component variant at least once.

Procedure

Start the iPPE workbench in change mode. Load the product structure in the navigation area.

  1. In the navigation area, expand the product structure until you see the component variant This graphic is explained in the accompanying text for which you want to copy concept data.
  2. If you double-click on the component variant This graphic is explained in the accompanying text the data is loaded.
  3. In the detail area, choose the Basic Data 1 tab page.
  4. Scroll down until you see the Concept Reference dataset.

Check the data for the concept group.

Note

If data transfer has run at least once, the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Display Transfer Log) icon is active.
  1. Choose the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Display Transfer Log) icon.

You see a dialog box with the administrative information on data transfer.

For more detailed information on changes to data in the component variant, see the change documents.

You can display change documents by using program RSSCD200 (transaction SE38). The following object classes are relevant to the transfer of concept data to the component variant:

By specifying further selection criteria, you can restrict the documents to be determined. For example, you can enter a user, a date, or a time.
