The following different cases can be distinguished when transferring a short text:
If you also want the long text for phrases to be transferred as the long text for the inspection characteristic, you must implement the customer exit EHQM0903 Add long text data to inspection characteristics. |
Inspection method (with plant and version) |
If you specified Inspection method as the type of characteristic during characteristic assignment in the Mapping Table, the corresponding content of the class characteristic is transferred.The version is always the version valid at the time the inspection plan was created. |
Unit of measure |
The unit of measure is transferred that is specified in the definition of the class characteristic. |
Decimal places |
You specify the number of decimal places in this field. The number of decimal places is not taken from the definition of the class characteristic, but derived from the entry for the characteristic in the value assignment type. If you specify several values with different numbers of decimal places, the greatest number of decimal places is always relevant for this field. |
Target value |
If you specified Target value as the type of characteristic during characteristic assignment in the Mapping Table, the corresponding content of the class characteristic is transferred.The system does not distinguish between "less than" and "less than or equal to," or "greater than" and "greater than or equal to" when it converts the values from the specification database, but always interprets the data as "less than or equal to" or "greater than or equal to." |
Upper limit |
If you specified Value range as the type of characteristic during characteristic assignment in the Mapping Table, this field is filled with the upper limit of the value range (see Note under Target value). |
Lower spec. limit |
If you specified Value range as the type of characteristic during characteristic assignment in the Mapping Table, this field is filled with the lower limit of the value range (see Note under Target value). |
InfoField 3 |
If you specified Additional information as the type of characteristic during characteristic assignment in the Mapping Table, the corresponding content of the class characteristic is transferred.You can also fill other infofields using the customer exit EHQM0902 Add data to inspection characteristics, for example. |
Selected set 1 with plant |
When phrases are converted to codes (see Processing of Characteristics) a selected set is created provided the codes are not available in any existing selected sets.This field is filled if you specified Attributive entry as the type of characteristic during characteristic assignment in the Mapping Table. |
