Use

To allow the user to extract data from the tables you have added as data sources, you must enable the Extract customer-defined data sources indicator on the Other data tab on the Display settings for data extraction settings screen.

Procedure

Enable the indicator through the Data extracts configuration:

  1. From the main DART menu, choose Configuration ® Data extracts.
    The Display settings for data extraction screen appears by default.
  2. Choose Display/Change to place the screen in change mode.
  3. Choose Other Data.
  4. Flag Extract customer-defined data sources.

 

Result

If the user flags the Extract customer-defined data sources indicator when extracting data, then the system uses the FTXW002 function exit you have created to extract the data defined by the segment you have added.

Note that if the user flags the Extract customer-defined data sources indicator, then all of the customer-defined data segments are included in the extract. The user cannot select a subset of these segments.
