Tab page
Find iPPE object

You enter search criteria for the iPPE object for which you want to display information from the product structure or PLM environment of early engineering.

Personal objects

You can select personal objects from the following lists:

  • Favorites
You can add the iPPE object whose object-specific page is displayed to your list of personal favorites. To do this, choose the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Add to Favorites) button, which is next to the description of the node type.
If the list is empty, the field does not appear on the Web user interface.
  • Stack
This list contains the last ten objects that you processed in the iPPE workbench or on the Web user interface of the product designer. The iPPE object is added to this list automatically if you select an object from the hit list of a search, for example.
  • Worklist
You can add the iPPE object whose object-specific page is displayed to either your worklist or the worklist of an employee (user in the system). To do this, choose the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Add to Worklist) button, which is next to the description of the node type. In an additional window, you can enter the user name.
If the list is empty, the field does not appear on the Web user interface.

Note

You can also influence the content of the lists by processing in the iPPE workbench in SAP R/3 Enterprise. The deletion of objects in the Favorites and Worklist lists is only possible in the iPPE workbench. In the navigation area, below the structure, is the link iPPE workbench.... If you execute this link, the iPPE object is loaded to the iPPE workbench in R/3 (display mode).

Finding objects

You can enter various search criteria to find objects. For all selection criteria, you can enter a generic character string (for example, ob*). The maximum number of hits is defined in the settings for the Web user interface.
