Use

Since the composition of participation certificates can vary considerably, they do not have a specific product category.

You define a product type that suits the type of participation certificate you want to represent.

You can choose from the following specific product category structures:

Notation: X = Function is supported

It is conceivable that you define two different product types for participation certificates. You may define one with product category 010 (stock), and another with product category 040 (bond).

Procedure

1. Create one or more product types for the participation certificates in Customizing for the securities area.

2. Create a class.
