
Editing a Class
Prerequisites
To enter new class data, you first have to create the issuer of the security as the
Business Partner in the role of Issuer.
Procedure

This number uniquely identifies the security. We recommend that you use the official security ID number.
Prerequisite: In Customizing for securities you must have defined the number range intervals as external number ranges. To do this, choose Define Number Ranges for Product Types in Customizing.

You can use the F4 Help to search for classes that have already been created in the system. You can search according to the following criteria:

Further notes
You can switch between the different areas by clicking the individual tab pages. Access to some areas is limited to certain product types.
You can also go to these areas by choosing the menu option Goto.
Switching between classes
You can switch between classes by entering a new security ID number in the selection field and choosing a processing function (display, change, etc.). By pressing the Enter key after entering a new security ID number, you can switch to the new class and remain in the same processing mode (e.g.: Change -> Change).
