Use

Upon completion of each settlement period, you create the tenant and real estate tape (M/L-tape) for the settlement company. The external settlement company needs this tape to create the D-tape.

NoteCreation of the M/L-tape is optional. You use this function if you wish to inform the settlement company of changes to rental periods or rental spaces. These changes are incorporated in the settlement results. If you do not create an M/L-tape, the settlement company uses the last valid tape. However you can also pass on information on changes in writing.

You do not require an M/L-tape if no DME settlement unit exists in the system.

Alternatively, you can use Business Transaction Events (Customizing) to create M/L records individually.

Procedure

Choose

Flexible Real Estate Management ® Service Charge Settlement ® Tapes for External Settlement Company ® Create M/L-Tape

The initial screen of Write Time Periods and Measurements to Settlement Company (M/L-Tape) is displayed.

Enter your selection criteria. Under Activity you have the following options:

  1. You want to write an M/L-tape directly (Creation with Reference to a Settlement): Enter the settlement ID.
  2. You want to run a simulation of the M/L-tape (Creation Without Reference to a Settlement): Enter your selection criteria.

Result

A list with tenant data and realty data is created according to your selection criteria.
