Management of Time Slots
A display of time-dependent data in table form.
You have specified time-dependent data for a Real Estate object.
In the master data dialog, you often encounter 1:n relationships. For instance, a Real Estate object can have an indefinite number of measurements. If these assignments are time-dependent, in other words the value for each measurement type can be changed on a defined date, the display and processing of master data may become rather cluttered.
In the
Management of Time Slots function, you can display a table of
current values assigned to the Real Estate object. If you wish to display or process
historic or future data, you can choose the given time slot by
choosing
Complete Period or
Current Time Slot.
You can only access time slot
management in display mode. However, if you have the necessary authorization,
you can jump to change mode in the time slot you currently have selected, and
change dates there.
The system divides the periods into time slots. Each time you make a change to time-dependent data, the system records a new time slot that starts from the change date. As a default, the system displays the current time slot.
You
can display historic and future entries if the
Previous Time Slot and
Next Time Slot buttons are active. The
“current” time slot is the period that includes the current
date.
In the complete view, current and future entries have different colors for easy identification.
Time slots are used in the following:
· Definition of measurements
· Assignment of object to partner in all roles
· Assignment of partner to contract
· Assignment of contract/object to conditions of different condition types
· Assignment of fixtures and fittings characteristics to a building or rental object
· Manual assignment of functional locations to objects in the usage or architectural views
