Processing Master Settlement Units 

Use

Activity	Choose	Information
Determine settlement period and settlement variants	Settlement Variant tab	The settlement variant must correspond with the settlement variants of the SUs they are based on. For each settlement period, you can specify several measurements (= apportionment units), or for each measurement you can specify vacancy percentage rates or heating value days (heating value percentage rates).
Optional: specify a business area / profit center	General Data tab
Determine the costs to be predistributed to particular settlement units	Participating SUs tab	It is not possible to assign master SUs to other master SUs. The participation data is only changeable if there has been no settlement in this settlement period with time-dependence. You can only assign participating settlement units at the start of a settlement period. See also Example: Service Charge Predistribution Calculation
Release master SU for account assignment	Cost collector button	Generate cost collector

Function	Choose	Information
Display list of participating settlement units for this master SU	Extras ® Overview of partic.SUs	You can sort, edit, send and export data in the output list.
Display list of participating settlement units for each settlement period	Extras ® Settlement period overview
List of settlement unit assignments to master SUs	Extras ® Assignment in master SUs
Display costs posted to master SU	Extras ® Postings overview	You receive a basic list for further processing.
Display documents (line items) for master SU	Extras ® Single documents	You can display the following information: Document overview, line item Real Estate object master data, G/L account, customer, vendor Real Estate account assignment Place the cursor on the required line and choose the function you require.
