Master Data

Purpose

This component forms the basis for all object-related information in order to present Real Estate objects: The following objects are available in the usage view:

Business entity
Property
Building
Rental object:

Pooled space
Rental space / rental room
Rental unit

In addition to master data in the usage view, you can also create user-defined architectural master data, such as:

Locality
Property
Building
Floor
Part of building
Space (such as parking space, storage space, office space)
Room of a space

You make global settings for master data of the usage view and architectural view in Customizing (Measurements). To do so, choose the following path in the application menu:

Customizing ® Flexible Real Estate ® Master Data ® General Settings ® Measurements.

Implementation Considerations

This component is the basis for using all other functions of the Flexible Real Estate component.
