In contrast to the AcceleratedSAP Roadmap which only supports one implementation strategy, Global ASAP must support various R/3 implementation strategies, which may contain different methods.

The basic concept of Global ASAP is to define and carry out centrally for the whole group all activities that take place at global level. These groupwide activities are then mapped to the new Global Roadmap which provides solutions and input for the projects at the regional and local levels (rollout).
