The purpose of this task is to identify requirements that may affect the definition of R/3 System organizational units.

You use the Structure Modeler to create a structure scenario that forms the basis for implementing the R/3 System. In this step, structure modeling is treated from a strategic point of view.

You concentrate on developing one or more structure scenarios founded on a pure business-oriented basis. You ignore distribution aspects at this stage; you may deal with them later.
