In this step, you can perform the statistical setup of information structures which contain retail-specific key figures.
The setup of statistical data in the Retail Information System (RIS) consists of three components:
The report RMCWNEUA is available for this purpose. It reads the material documents, the purchasing documents, as well as the billing documents and triggers the statistics update of these documents in accordance with the selection made by you in the selection screen.
The selection screen adapts to the respective components that you selected under the option "Specifications for the target structures".
In this process, both the archived documents and the documents in the system are processed.
In order to avoid any subsequent inconsistencies in the data, no documents should be created, changed, deleted, or archived during a setup of statistical data.
The SAP standard system supports the setup of statistical data from the three components listed above, i.e., it sets the respective indicators for the setup of statistical data from material documents, from purchasing documents, and from billing documents.
In order to obtain consistent key figure information for the Retail Information System, you should perform a statistical setup for the three three components (SD, INVCO, Purchasing) at least for the first time you perform a statistical setup.
In the case of any subsequent statistical setup, this is no longer necessary as a rule, nor is it recommended, as a complete statistical setup of the information structures in the Retail Information System is extremely time-consuming.
You can find detailed information about the individual statistical setups that are used in the Retail Information System in the respective descriptions of the setup of statistical data for Inventory Controlling, Purchasing and Sales and Distribution.
