Archiving
Purpose
You use archiving to remove mass data you no longer need in SAP Consolidation from the database, and to store it in an archive file where it can still be evaluated.
Integration
The SAP Data Archiving concept is based on the Archive Development Kit (ADK). The ADK provides the technical basis for the archiving transaction (SARA). To call the archiving transaction, choose Tools
® Administration ® Management ® Data Archiving, or enter the transaction code.Archiving objects for each application component are predefined in the system.
