Totaling Up Budget Values in Batch 
Use
You can use this program in the following situations:
Within hierarchy maintenance, you have saved your budget data for the new year inconsistently on a lower hierarchy level and want automatically to fill all interim levels of the budget hierarchy with values.
You have made changes to your master data hierarchy posted to or budgeted and the new funds centers or commitment items are to receive a budget.
You have defined new budget objects within the budget structure and these are to receive a budget.

To improve system performance, total up the budget in background processing.
Procedure
Result
When totaling up the budget values, all changes which you have made to your original budget by means of budget updates such as supplements, are not taken into account for each transaction but are entered into the original budget. For more information on this, see:
