Master data

Purpose

In this process you describe the maintenance of the relevant master data for the calculation of Social Insurance contributions for each employee.

Requirements

In the system Implementation Guide you must have made all settings regarding Social Insurance master data, found through in the following routes:

Personnel management ® Personnel administration ® Payroll data ® IMSS data ® Define the address for each IMSS employer registration number. In this section the addresses connected with IMSS employer registration numbers for the company are registered as:

Employer Registration Number: The employer registration number assigned by the IMSS, is unique.

IMSS Registered Company Name: Name or trade name of company.

Agreement: Social Insurance contributions

Identification fields.

Personnel management ® Personnel administration ® Payroll data ® IMSS data ® Assign IMSS employer registration number to Personnel area/sub-area.

Guide number: Number the IMSS assigns to the payment of contributions and modifications.

Process

The maintenance of the relevant Social Insurance master data is performed using the "IMSS Data" infotype (0369).

The maintenance of this infotype is compulsory, given that without the Social Insurance data, it is not possible to execute payroll accounting. The standard system offers this maintenance infotype as part of the personnel action on hiring.

In order to maintain this infotype, complete the fields corresponding to the ‘IMSS Data’ fields group of fields, in accordance with the information contained in the description of the IMSS Data infotype (0369)

Result

Once all the information is collected corresponding to the infotype, it is stored in the system as the base for the processing of the operations corresponding to the Social Insurance calculation.

It is compulsory for each of the employees to have the IMSS Data infotype collected (0369).
