Settings for PI Sheets and Cockpits 
Use
For the system to be able to display browser-based PI sheets and process manufacturing cockpits correctly, we recommend installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. In addition, we recommend making the security settings described below in your Internet Explorer:
1. In the
Internet Explorer menu, choose Tools -> Internet
Options....
1. Choose the
Security tab page.
2. Choose the
Internet Web content zone.
3. Choose
Custom Level....
4. Make the
following settings in the Security Settings dialog
box:
- Download signed ActiveX controls: enable or prompt
- Launching programs and files in an IFRAME: enable
- Navigate sub-frames across different domains: enable
In addition, note the following:
- All browser settings that you make in your Internet Explorer automatically take effect in the browser-based PI sheet and process manufacturing cockpit, too.
- Some of the keyboard functions that are common in the SAP System (such as F4) may not function in the usual way or may not be available at all.
