General Capacity Data 

 

You can enter or edit the following data in the General data section of the header screen:

The capacity planner group is responsible for maintaining and planning capacities. It is defined in Customizing for the work center by choosing Determine capacity planner.

The pooled capacity indicator tells you whether the capacity is a pooled capacity, and thus be assigned to several work centers. Pooled capacities can only be created independently from work centers.

In Customizing you can create shift sequences or shift definitions for groupings, that is for special areas (for instance different plants or part of a plant). When you maintain available capacities you can then select the shift definitions and shift sequences that have been maintained for the grouping.
