Reference Available Capacity 

If you want to maintain an available capacity, you can transfer the following data from a reference capacity:

If no active version has been specified in the reference capacity, you can determine one.

When you create an available capacity for a work center, you can transfer the available capacity of another capacity category.

By either referencing or copying capacities, you determine how transferred data can be changed:

You can change the transferred data. Changes to the reference capacity have no effect on the capacity.

You can only change the transferred data by changing the reference capacity.

Multi-level references: If you copy or reference capacity Y in capacity X and capacity Y copies from or references capacity Z, then the data for X is copied or referenced directly from Z.
