As well as the standard available capacity you can define further available capacity versions for each capacity category in a work center. These are identified by version numbers.

You have to enter the version number and its meaning for each version in Customizing the work center under Define version of available capacity.

The active version is used for scheduling and capacity planning. If you have not entered an active version, the standard available capacity is used, even if an available capacity version has been entered.
