Creating Capacities by Copying from 

Prerequisites

When you create a capacity, you can use an already existing capacity to copy from. You can use either a work center capacity or a work center independent capacity.

Procedure

Work Center Independent Capacity

  1. On the initial screen for creating a capacity choose Copy from...

    2. The Copy from dialog box appears.

  2. If you want to copy from a work center independent capacity (for example a pooled capacity), enter the capacity and the capacity category. If you want to copy from a work center capacity, enter the work center and the capacity category.
  3. Select the data that you want to copy to the new capacity.

Work Center Capacity

  1. On the initial screen for creating a work center enter the plant and the work center from which you want to copy.

    2. The Copy from dialog box appears.

  2. Select the data that you want to copy to the new work center

In work center maintenance and capacity maintenance you can either copy or reference capacities.
