Basic Functions in the Hit List 

 

You can use the following basic functions to process the hit list:

Function

Description

Substance (or phrase, or other object) ® Other selection

You can start a new search with different search parameters.

(only for substances and phrases:)

Utilities ® Search parameters

The R/3 system displays the search parameters used to construct the current hit list.

(only for substances:)

Utilities ® Extend selection

You can enter additional search parameters.

After you have confirmed your entries, the existing hit list is extended to include the new hits.

(only for substances:)

Utilities ® Refine selection

You can enter search parameters for existing substance data records.

After you have confirmed your entries, the existing hit list is refined to include these data records only.

Utilities ® Reset selection

After you have modified the hit list using Extend selection and Refine selection, you can use Reset selection to call the previous hit list.

Utilities ® Column selection

A dialog box appears in which you can flag the columns that you want displayed in the hit list.

After you have chosen Confirm, all non-flagged columns are hidden.

Utilities ® Return to original

The R/3 System displays all columns.

Flag the columns that you would like to sort (click on the header line).

Choose the symbol Sort ascending.

If you have flagged several columns, a dialog box appears in which you can specify an ascending or descending sort sequence for each individual column.

If you have only flagged one column, it will be sorted in ascending order immediately.

Choose the symbol Sort descending

If you have flagged several columns, a dialog box appears in which you can specify an ascending or descending sort sequence for each individual column.

If you have only flagged one column, it will be sorted in descending order immediately.

System ® List ® Find

A dialog box appears in which you can search for a particular term in the hit list.

System ® List ® Print (or phrase or other objects)

A dialog box appears in which you can enter print parameters for your R/3 printer. You can then choose Print.
