Document Types in Substance Reporting 

Definition

The following document types are used in substance reporting:

Documents of document type SBV use various types of symbol to define the contents of your report. The link between report templates and substance report generation variants enables you to generate reports (SBR) and final reports (SBE).

Reports are generated for specific substances using released report templates. Report bodies contain expanded substance data.

Final reports are based on released reports. When reports are shipped, data from other R/3 components is added to complete the final report in a second generation run.

Cover sheet templates use various types of symbol to define the layout of cover sheets.

The final version of a cover sheet is generated directly from a cover sheet template. Cover sheets are generated from a report at the same time as the final report.

Inbound documents are scanned documents created in external systems.

Just like cover sheet templates, you can define templates for acknowledgments of receipt that are then used to generate acknowledgements of receipt.
