Cover Sheet Template (DBV)

Definition

Cover sheet templates define the layout of a cover sheets (letters, for example) used for reports.

You create cover sheets in the same way as report templates using an enhanced version of Winword (Winword Wordprocessor Integration (WWI)) and various symbol types (see: Report Template (SBV)).

Cover sheets are always expanded completely in one generation run. There are no intermediate stages.

Use

As cover sheet templates are always expanded completely, the system only expands symbol types with an expansion fence > 10 .

To be able to generate a cover sheet template, you must have carried out the following steps in Customizing for Product Safety:

In the IMG activity Check shipping reasons, set the cover sheet indicator.

In the IMG activity Allocate templates: cover sheets/acknowledgements of receipt, make the allocations as required.
