Accessing the Substance Information System 

  1. From the Product Safety screen, choose Substances ® Substance information system.

    2. The Substance Information System: Initial Screen appears. You can start substance drill-down reporting from here.

  2. Enter the search criteria for your substance. Use extended drill-down reporting.

    3. See also: Searching for Substances.

  3. Choose Substance ® Hit list.

    4. The R/3 System lists all substances that match your search criteria.

    Choose Utilities ® Extend selection and Utilities ® Refine selection as required ( See also: Basic Functions in the Hit List).

  4. Within the hit list, you can display data for selected substances:

Data for substance characteristic categories of type Property, Composition or Listing as an R/3 list or an Excel list

Displaying Properties

Data for a substance characteristic category of type Substance composition or Substance listing including different formatting methods

Displaying Compositions/Constituents
