In this IMG activity, you set up a job for a variant of the report program for master data matchup. The variant of the report program includes the functions Set deletion indicator and Delete physically

Activities

Use transaction SE38 to create a variant for report program RC14KCMP that contains the functions Set deletion indicator and Delete physically.

Schedule the report program with the variant to run in the background at night, because these functions take a long time to execute.

To schedule a report program with a variant, proceed as follows:

If your system is based on a 3.X standard release, from the SAP R/3 screen, choose Tools -> Administration -> Jobs -> Define job

If your system is based on a 4.X standard release, from the SAP R/3 screen, choose System -> Services -> Jobs -> Define job
