Set deletion indicator

Use

If you carry out the function Edit -> Delete in the R/3 component Product Safety , the R/3 System sets a deletion indictator for the corresponding data record.

To ensure that the deletion indicator is set for data records that are already dependent on data records marked as deleted, set the indicator 'Set deletion ind. in master data adjustment.

Example:

The deletion indicator was set for a substance header, but not for the corresponding identifier.

If you set the indicator Set deletion ind., all data in the R/3 component Product Safety are cleaned up in the current client so that all missing deletion indicators are set subsequently.

Dependencies

To physically delete data records, set the Delete phys. indicator in master data adjustment.
