Maintaining the Start Date

Prerequisites

The start date only needs to be maintained during the first step of an archiving session. It remains valid until the end of the session.

The traffic light and the note text describe the status of the start date.

Traffic light	Note	Meaning
	Not maintained	The start date must be maintained.
	Maintained	The start date has already been maintained, but it still contains the old values.
	Maintained	The start date contains up-to-date values.

Procedure

Choose the Start Date function. The Start Time screen is displayed where you can maintain the start date values.

Choose one of the buttons for fixing the desired start date, and maintain the parameters in the fields available.

To schedule periodic jobs, use the Period Values function.

The Restrictions function allows you to fix the start date.

Save your entries with Save.
