Maintaining Spool Parameters

Prerequisites

Spool parameters only need to be maintained during the first step of an archiving session. They remain valid until the end of the session.

The traffic light and the note text describe the status of the spool parameters.

Traffic light	Note	Meaning
	Not maintained	The spool parameters must be maintained.
	Maintained	The spool parameters have already been maintained, but they still contain the old values.
	Maintained	The spool parameters contain up-to-date values.

Procedure

Choose the Spool Params. function. The Background Print Parameters screen is displayed where you can control the printout of the archiving log.

Maintain the parameters for the output device, the spool request, the spool control, and the output format.

You can accept the field default values by choosing the Set Default Value function.

Save your entries with Save.
