Detailed Material Selection (Accessing the Collective Display)

Use

If you selected the field Material overview in the initial screen of the planning table, the system displays a list of all materials that correspond to your selection criteria before branching into the planning table.
In this list you can narrow down your material selection further, for example selecting materials by exceptions or days’ supply.

Integration

The layout of the Collective Display of the Planning Table corresponds to the Collective Display of the MRP List or the Stock/Requirements List.

Prerequisites

To access the Collective Display, in the initial screen of the planning table, go to the Control data tab page and select the Material overview option in addition to the selection by lines or selection by materials.

Features

In the collective display, the materials are displayed in tabular form with the following information:

Days’ supply
Receipt days’ supply
Exception groups
Plant stock
Base unit of measure
Material type
Procurement type
Special procurement type
MRP type
MRP level
Indicator that the stock/requirements list was created
Indicator that the list has already been accessed

The following functions are available:

Sorting

If you want to sort the materials in the list differently, choose Sort . The system then displays a dialog box containing the sort criteria. By entering priorities, you can change the sort sequence of the materials.

Find

There are three find functions:

Find in overview with the criteria material number and material short text, days’ supply and receipt days’ supply, exception groups, processing indicator and lights.
Find in list according to materials with certain exception messages. The display depends on the exceptions or MRP elements that lie within the period of examination.
Find in list according to materials with certain MRP elements. The display depends on the MRP elements that lie within the period of examination. When searching for MRP elements, you can limit the period of the search.

Accessing the Planning Table

You have two options for accessing the planning table from the collective display of the planning table:

Function Planning table

All the materials selected in the collective display are listed in the planning table.

Function Planning table material

All the materials selected in the collective display are displayed individually in the planning table. Choose Next/previous material to scroll from one material to the next.
