You use this function when you want to replace resources in recipes. You replace resources in many or all master recipes in which they are used at the same time. This allows you to update your recipes, for example, when you have changed a resource in your plant.

There are two ways to replace a resource in a recipe:

• Directly in the operation of a particular recipe

• In all recipes where it is used (mass replacement)

When you replace a resource with another resource in an operation, the following is copied to the new resource:

• Basic data
• Default values and activity types with set reference indicators
• Performance Efficiency Rate Key

The unit of measurement of the standard value is not copied. For the standard values, the rules for maintenance defined in the new resource become valid.

Mass replacement can be carried out online or in the batch mode.
