Delete or Delete <object> (Function) 

Delete is a function at task level the user can choose to delete table entries, list entries or data records (for example, Delete program). If lines are to be deleted from tables or lists, they have to be selected first. To indicate the object to be deleted, you have to specify the corresponding function name (for example, Delete line).

Depending on the context, the system should display a dialog box with a confirmation prompt before the action is executed (see Prompts in Dialog Boxes).
