Status Bar 
The bottom line of the R/3 primary window contains the status bar that displays messages or information on the status of the application.

Purpose and Appearance
Purpose
The system displays messages and status information in the status bar.
Position
The status bar is located at the bottom edge of the R/3 primary window.
Structure
The status bar contains
- messages at the left of the status boxes; information on a chosen function (of the
Standard Toolbar or the
Application Toolbar (Control Element)) are also displayed here.

Depending on the dialog situation and error type, error messages can also be displayed in a separate dialog box.
- status information to the right of the message:
- The first status box contains a popup window from which you can select to display the following information:
- System
- Client
- User
- Program
- Transaction
- Response time
- The second status box displays the server to which you are connected.
- The third status box specifies your data entry mode. By clicking on the box with the mouse, you can toggle between overwrite and insert modes.
- The fourth status box displays the time. By clicking on the box with the mouse, you can toggle between the clock time and the system response time for each transaction.
