Changes to Family/Related Person (0021)

Use

Only relevant for the Public Sector

The functions for the Public Sector are displayed in separate screens for the Family/Related Person infotype (0021). The screens and their numbers have been changed and your Customizing settings must be modified accordingly. This change is partly necessary due to the new family-related bonus functions.

Note: If the Customizing settings for the screen control have not been modified, maintenance of the Basic Pay (0008), Family/Related Person (0021), Wage Maintenance (0052), and Family-Related Bonuses (0595) infotypes is locked.

Effects on Existing Data

Previously, the single screens were maintained in screens 2051, 2001, and, if applicable, in screen 2000. Screen 2051 has been removed without replacement. The functions in screens 2051 and 2001 have been grouped together. The new screen 2301 replaces the two old screens. The list screen was previously maintained in screen 3001. This screen has also been removed and has been replaced by the new screen 3301.

The maintenance of field P0021-ERBNR (Reference personnel number ) is now more restrictive. It is now only possible to enter personnel numbers in the correct format (maximum of eight characters and only digits).

Effects on System Administration

When you have modified your Customizing settings, you must start report RPU_UPDATE_T5D8R with indicator OZD . This is necessary to unlock the above infotypes for maintenance. To remove the lock completely, however, you must first set up the new family-related bonus functions.
