Entering/Displaying Planning Data

Use

The Enter planning data planning method allows you to enter and interactively edit planning data for individual profitability segments manually in an entry screen. The Display planning data planning method allows you to display planning data in the same degree of detail, that is, for individual profitability segments.

Prerequisites

In order to be able to execute the planning methods, you have to create a parameter set for each method. For detailed information, see the section Setting Up Manual Entry of Planning Data.

For the manual entry of planning data, there are alternative interfaces that can be used instead of the standard SAP interface:

You can use Microsoft Excel as your interface (see Integrated Excel in Planning).

You can use an ordinary Web browser to enter planning data into the SAP System via the Internet (see Entering Planning Data via the World Wide Web).

To simplify cooperation between different planners, the planning methods are connected to the SAP Business Workflow (see Planning Data Entry in the Workflow).
