Delete Program Settings

Use

Here, you determine the control parameters for the execution of the delete program.

Features

For the Test run variant, enter a variant whose parameters are set to test run. In this case, no data is deleted in the database.

For the Production session variant, enter a variant whose parameters are set to production session. This variant deletes the archived data in the database.

The variants of the delete programs are client-dependent! You therefore have to configure the variants for each client in which you wish to perform archiving sessions.

The first time you archive the selected archiving object, you have to maintain the corresponding test run and production session variants of the delete program completely.

Check if both variants exist. In particular, if the production session variant does not exist, no data is deleted from the database when the deletion session was started in the productive system.

If you choose the option Detail log, you obtain a Detail Log.

If you wish the production session option Archive and Delete to be activated during Variant Maintenance, set the indicator Start automatic. Only then will the system start the deletion process automatically with the option Archive and Delete.
