Checking the Capacity Situation 

Procedure

  1. Choose Goto ® Capacity situation.
  2. The Settings for capacity planning dialog box now appears.

  3. Select the required planning type and the period value for capacity planning and, if necessary, choose a period of examination. Choose .

You now branch into the screen for capacity leveling (material view).

For the whole material, the capacity leveling relates to one work center and one capacity category (machine or person) as well as the capacity unit (for example, hours) from the work center.

In this material view of capacity leveling, the same display and processing functions are available as in the order view, that means the view that carries out capacity leveling for just one chosen planned order. For more information, see Working with Capacity Leveling.

Display all Planned Orders for a Material and Execute Capacity Leveling

Choose Planned orders for material.

The Planned orders dialog box appears with a list of all planned orders.

Position the cursor on the required planned order and choose Choose.

In the Planned order screen area, you can change the dates or quantity of the planned order selected. The system plans the order again immediately.

Access Capacity Planning Table

Choose Planning table.

The system displays the capacity planning table.

The capacity planning table allows operation-oriented dispatching.
