Create Information Structures 

To create a new information structure, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Archive Retrieval Configurator (ARC) initial screen, choose Archive Info Structure ® Create.
  2. This takes you to the Archive Retrieval Configurator dialog box.

  3. Enter the required information.
  4. This should include the name of the new archive information structure, the name of the archiving object for which the information structure is intended and a field catalog, which you can select from a list using input help. In the box on the right you can also enter a text for the information structure

  5. Select Create.
  6. This takes you to the dialog box Archive Retrieval Configurator.

  7. In the right frame, select all the fields that you want to include in the information structure.
  8. Press the pushbutton Include Selected Fields.
  9. The selected fields are included in the information structure in the left frame.

  10. Save your entry. Select Return to go back to the ARC entry screen
